Advance the practice of the Islamic religion in the principles of Islam as shown in the Holy Quran & the Sunnah in accordance with the madhab of Imam Abu Hanifah for the benefit of the public; through the holding of congregational prayer & organised events. The Masjid also provides Madrasah facilities for boys and girls from age 5 onwards.
Anjuman-E-Isha'at-E-Islam was established in 1958. Masjid Al Farouq was built in 1994 and has been serving the community for over 30 years.
The building of Masjid Al Farouq was a community project which took years to build to provide the local community and surrounding areas with a Masjid and community hub. This is the story of Masjid Al Farouq from our humble beginnings at 102 Wednesbury Road to a fully built and modern Masjid by 1994. This is the story of a small community who took on an audacious plan and, through the mercy of Allah and despite challenges, overcame them.
